O recurso de armazenamento automático "afoga" os motores em minutos, sem nenhuma visita ao revendedor. Um motor Evinrude E-TEC não requer correias, comandos de válvulas ou válvulas de escape, o que significa que há menos peças para desgastar ou falhar do que um motor de popa de quatro tempos.
