How to Add Oil to Your Boat Engine

How to Add Oil To Your Boat Engine

Advantage: With other outboards, they require you to have a break in period, dealer scheduled maintenance, and oil changes. With an E-TEC G2, you have no break in period, 5 years or 500 hours dealer scheduled maintenance and no oil changes.

Benefit: That means you can run it like you want, right out of the box! It also keeps you out on the water longer and saves you money by avoiding all those stress filled trips to the dealership. Just another way we make your boating experience effortless.

How To: Step by Step

  1. Remove the top panel

  2. Remove the oil cap

  3. Add your oil through the built-in funnel

    • XPS Marine XD 100

  4. Reattach the oil cap

  5. Reattach the top panel

It’s Just That Easy

Adding oil is as simple as 5 steps! No need to take it in for service when you can do it yourself!
