STURTEVANT, Wis., January 17, 2019 – Evinrude announced today that it has signed on as a sponsor of the new Major League Fishing (MLF) Bass Pro Tour and will be the title sponsor of the series’ Stages in 2019.

STURTEVANT, WI – Evinrude today announced that it is now a part of the newly established BRP Marine Group. Evinrude, an outboard engine manufacturer that developed the first commercially viable outboard engine in 1909, will join Alumacraft, a 70-plus year-old manufacturer of aluminum fishing boats which was acquired today, as the first players in the new Group.
STURTEVANT, Wis.– Evinrude today announced they will be inducted into the Space Technology Hall of Fame during the Space Foundation’s 34th Space Symposium in Colorado Springs, Colo. As a 2018 Organization Inductee, Evinrude will be honored for the company’s role in commercializing high-strength, wear-resistant aluminum alloy (NASA 398) originally developed by NASA scientists, Jonathan A. Lee and Dr. Po-Shou Chen. Chen, Lee and the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center (NASA MSFC) will also be honored at this year’s event.
Sturtevant, WI - For the first time, Evinrude, has received recognition as a Green Master in the Wisconsin Green Masters Program. The Green Masters Program recognizes and assesses Wisconsin businesses on their sustainability performance in a variety of sustainability categories.
