Wiggins and Vandemark capture their first FLW win
Sturtevant, Wis., October 26, 2006 – The Evinrude/Ranger team of Blair Wiggins and Tadd Vandemark won the Wal-Mart FLW Redfish Series Championship title October 22. The pair won the three-day tournament with a total redfish weigh-in of 35 pounds, one ounce, for the $100,000 prize. It is their first FLW win after coming close with a top-five finish in Lafitte, Louisiana earlier this year.
Wiggins had this to say about their big win, "We've worked hard all year for this but it definitely seems like good things have been happening since we joined Team Evinrude. I'm really pleased with the reliability and great fuel economy I get from my Evinrude E-TEC outboard and the support that comes with being a member of the Evinrude team."
Wiggins, Addictive Fishing show host, of Cocoa, FL, and Vandemark of Key Largo, FL, are powered by a 250-hp Evinrude E-TEC outboard engine.
