BRP becomes FLW 2006 Saltwater events sponser
(Sturtevant , Wis. , April 3, 2006) – Bombardier Recreational Products Inc. (BRP) becomes an official sponsor of all FLW Outdoors 2006 saltwater tournament circuits. As a sponsor, BRP will support the FLW contingency payouts for the Wal-Mart FLW Kingfish Tour, Wal-Mart FLW Kingfish Series and Wal-Mart FLW Redfish Series through significant cash bonuses and products.
Anglers qualify for the program by competing in the FLW tournaments powered by Evinrude ® E-TEC ® or Evinrude DI outboard engines, model year 2004 or newer. Awards include $37,500 given to the winner of the FLW Kingfish Tour Championship, $30,000 to FLW Kingfish Tour regular-season event winners, $25,000 to winners of the FLW Redfish Series Championship and $12,500 to winners of FLW Redfish Series Eastern or Western Division events. FLW will manage and pay out the contingency at each tournament location. The FLW program takes the place of the Evinrude E-TEC contingency program for the FLW Redfish, Kingfish and Kingfish series contingency payouts. More information on these programs can be found at www.flwoutdoors.com .
BRP is offering an Evinrude contingency program on saltwater tournaments outside of the FLW circuit including; Redfish Cup; Pro Redfish Cup Championship; SKA Pro Kingfish; SKA Pro Kingfish Championship; and twelve of the SKA Regional Kingfish events.* The lucrative award system was developed by BRP to support anglers running Evinrude engines on their boats and to help grow the sport of saltwater fishing.
