BRAUER AND MOREHEAD BRING HOME BASS SUCCESS FOR TEAM EVINRUDE

Sturtevant, WI, July 19, 2006 - BRP Team Evinrude® anglers Denny Brauer and Dan Morehead excelled on the BASS and FLW bass tournament circuits last weekend. Brauer won the Elite Series CITGO Bassmaster Champion's Choice title on Lake Champlain in Plattsburgh, New York, on July 16. Winning the four-day event by almost eight pounds put Brauer over the $2 million mark and back on top as the BASS career earnings leader with the $100,000 firstplace prize he received on Sunday.

In the FLW series, Dan Morehead and his co-angler, Mark Myers, finished on top winning the Stren Series Midwest Division event presented by BRP Evinrude on the Mississippi River in Onalaska, Wisconsin, near LaCrosse. This win marks the fifth pro-level tournament victory of Morehead's FLW Outdoors career with a two-day weight of 29.10 pounds.

"Denny and Dan are incredible anglers and continue to heighten the competition within the bass tournament circuits," said Roch Lambert, Vice-President and General Manager, Outboard Marine Engines at BRP. "We're as passionate about the E-TEC technology as these men are about the sport of fishing. Commitment and skill will always pay off."

A native of Camdenton, Missouri, Brauer finished with a total of 20 large-mouth bass weighing 80.3 pounds. Also finishing in the top-10 was fellow Team Evinrude member, Mike Wurm, who took 7th place and $17,000 in prize money.

Morehead's winning two-day weight was 29.10 pounds, tied with Stacey King. Morehead won the tiebreaker with the heaviest opening-round weight. The veteran from Paducah, Kentucky took home a prize pot that includes a new 519VX Ranger powered by an Evinrude E-TEC® outboard engine, MinnKota trolling motor, Lowrance electronics, and EverStart batteries, plus $10,000 in cash.
