Sturtevant, WI, July 6, 2006 – BRP's Team Evinrude member, Anthony Gagliardi, has been awarded the 2006 Wal-Mart FLW Land O'Lakes Angler of the Year title. The award was presented at the FLW tour tournament on Lake Champlain in Plattsburgh, NY. Anthony led the Wal-Mart FLW tour points race most of the season and is considered to be one of the most consistent touring bass anglers in the world. He has been part of the Evinrude family for the past four years.
"It felt like it was my turn up here," stated Gagliardi. "The persistence and focus has paid off, for sure, and the Evinrude E-TEC durability has certainly played into my win," he concluded.

This is the third Angler of the Year title for a Team Evinrude member in the last four years. Previous winners are FLW Angler of the Year, Dan Moorehead, and BASS Angler of the Year, Davy Hite. The saltwater/red fish team of Greg and Bryan Watts has also garnered an Angler of the Year title for Team Evinrude.
