Larry Nixon's Picks Detroit River Group A – Andy Morgan – Andy is red hot right now and there's no reason to believe he'll slow down. Plus he's done real well at Detroit in the past.Group B – Larry Nixon – I've done real well at Detroit most years. Last year I didn't do too hot, but this is my time for revenge. Group C – Kevin Long – Never pick against the local guy in a fishing tournament. Especially one like Kevin who's done very well at Detroit in the past, including last year's runner-up finish.
A member of Team Evinrude since 2006, Cochran was inducted into the Professional Bass Fishing Hall of Fame in 2002. During his 29 years as a professional Cochran has finished in the top 10 a total of 59 times and won 9 tournaments, including the 2005 Forrest L. Wood Championship at Lake Hamilton. Like Nixon, his career earnings as a professional exceed $2 million.

He thinks he can win every tournament and has certainly come close this year.Group B – Larry Nixon - You can't pick against the legend. He's won several tournaments there already and he's always one to watch for. Group C – George Cochran – I'm going to start practicing there earlier this year and looking for some new places to catch fish. I think this is the year I master the Detroit River.
