Carbon monoxide emissions. No one likes a dirty outboard. It's perhaps the only thing on which fish and fishermen can agree. The CO emissions of the two-stroke E-TEC V6 are three times less than that of a four-stroke Mercury Verado. Not surprising, since we designed our engine to be the cleanest you can buy, anywhere in the world, at any price. Another reason that, when it comes to E-TEC, two is greater than four.
