Sturtevant, Wis., May 15, 2006 – BRP US Inc. Team Evinrude member Davy Hite brought home the Clarks Hill victory on the BASS tour May 7 in Augusta, Georgia, the fifth stop on the 2006 BASS Elite tour. Hite won the Bassmaster Elite Series Pride of Augusta tournament on Sunday with his four-day total weight of 71.12 pounds, earning him $100,000.

On the last day of the event, Hite brought in a five-fish limit at 15.11 pounds and coasted to his seventh professional Bassmaster Tour win. Hite also holds two Bassmaster Angler of the Year titles and a Bassmaster Classic title.
