BRP announces 2006 Team Evinrude
Veteran George Cochran joins the elite fishing team.
(Sturtevant, Wis., January 23, 2006) - Bombardier Recreational Products Inc. (BRP) announces the 2006 Team Evinrude® fishing tournament teams, a group of accomplished fishing professionals that includes the 2005 Forrest L. Wood (FLW) Bass Series champion George Cochran, and 2005 FLW Eastern Division Redfish Series Team of the Year, Bryan and Gregg Watts.
Team Evinrude is an elite team of 22 bass and walleye anglers and eight offshore saltwater anglers. George Cochran, new to Team Evinrude this year, joins forces with fellow bass fishing talents like Larry Nixon, Denny Brauer and Davy Hite. All Team Evinrude members are powered with Evinrude® E-TEC® outboard engines, providing superior speed and fuel economy backed by a first-class support staff from BRP.
"We have strong teams with seasoned professionals who are experts in the fresh and saltwater species fishing. The pro anglers of Team Evinrude dominate the saltwater trails FLW Kingfish, FLW Redfish, ESPN Redfish Cup, and SKA kingfish and the Forrest L. Wood (FLW) circuit, a tournament series co-sponsored by Evinrude E-TEC engines. Members of Team Evinrude are also competitors on all major bass and walleye trails including: the Stren Series, BASS series, FLW Walleye series, and Professional Walleye Trail (PWT) series.
