Nashville, TN, June 16, 2006 – BRP is pleased to announce the 2006 recipients of the Evinrude® E-TEC® National Sales Award program. The Evinrude E-TEC National Sales Excellence award went to Atlantic Outboard from Westbrook, Connecticut in the US, and Maple City Marine Ltd. from Chatham, Ontario, in Canada.
These awards were presented during the annual Club Evinrude dealer meeting held this week in Nashville. For three days, over 800 North American dealer principals and 50 boat builder representatives attended BRP's Club, kicking off the 2007 season. The theme of Club Evinrude 2007 is a birthday celebration commemorating the acquisition of the Evinrude and Johnson assets of OMC five years ago by Bombardier's Recreational Products division, today known as BRP.
"The recipients of our top sales achievement awards exemplify the best of our business," said Roch Lambert, vice-president and general manager, Outboard Engines. "We value their tremendous dedication and achievement. Our purpose for Club Evinrude is to show our support for our dealers and empower them to sell the best outboard engines available."
In addition to testing the latest Evinrude E-TEC outboard engines rigged on a wide range of new boats, dealers attended sales training seminars and recognized their peers at the annual Club Evinrude awards banquet. BRP also presented the following regional awards for Evinrude E-TEC top sales achievement:
- Southeast regional winner: 72 Marine Sales in Elberton, Georgia
- Western regional winner: Alaska Mining and Diving Supply in Anchorage, Alaska
- Northeast regional winner: All Island Marine Inc. in Oceanside, New York
